#blogHOPE 2014 Team Member - Molly Bear

Our final #blogHOPE 2014 team member is Molly! Although she isn't a blogger, we are so excited to have her here serving alongside Sole Hope!  My name is Molly Bear - I am a senior at Arizona State University and a mom to a beautiful, silly little girl named Peyton who will be two in April. I used to play collegiate soccer at the University of Missouri and Louisiana State University - where I met and became close friends with Mo Isom and that is how I heard of Sole Hope. In November, I met a man in one of my classes who came to the US from Sudan as a child after his family was killed by the LRA....

#blogHOPE 2014 Team Member - Mo Isom

Today we are excited to announce another #blogHOPE team member - Mo Isom! She first worked with Sole Hope last year on a documentary - and now she'll be back with the bloggers trip next month! Mo Isom is a professional speaker, writer and on-camera personality. The 24-year-old former All-American goalkeeper for the LSU women's soccer team was also the first female to ever train with and tryout for an SEC, Division I men's football team. While her collegiate athletic career was marked by many incredible highs, her personal life was riddled with many life-changing lows. Isom battled and overcame an eating disorder, unexpectedly lost her father to suicide, and almost lost her own life in a horrific car accident--all...

#blogHOPE 2014 Team Member - Erika Riggs

We are so excited to introduce you to our next #blogHOPE team member. We are look forward to meeting her next month and can't wait to be apart of the #blogHOPE journey! I was born and raised in Washington state and currently live in Seattle, which feels worlds away from Africa. I never was someone who felt a tug to serve anywhere remotely, so when I attended the Influence Conference in September 2012 and heard about Sole Hope, it was a new feeling to hear little whispers of interest of going and serving. I love that Sole Hope is an integrative nonprofit-- more than just giving money-- people can be a part of the life-changing work that they do, by...
